My first official release was ‘Sea to Sky’ starting production on January 6th, 2023. It came from nothing as I'd recently hit a creative roadblock, struggling to breathe life into new ideas for future tracks and stuck in a cycle of discarding lackluster work.

The chord progression came to me first and instantly reminded me of the old school progressive house from the early 2000’s. I continued to build on this foundation, creating 2 pianos that would play through most of the track. Although I'd initially created them separately, it was only when they played together that I recognized the true beauty of what was unfolding.
As time flew by the track evolved into its first full length demo, I couldn't help but feel it deserved an official release. That's when I reached out to the Melodic Progressive House Label, Emergent Shores. Their quick and positive response marked a milestone in my journey as Sea to Sky became my first-ever official release on June 28, 2023.
This release also served as a valuable learning experience, providing me with a ton of insights that have significantly enhanced my sound in the brief period since its release. These lessons include various aspects such as mixing, mastering, and arrangement techniques.
