Pear - Works With You

One of Pear's main goals is to demonstrate how our products seamlessly support and enhance the experience of our users. Whether you're a student, artist, musician, business owner, or in any other role, we understand that you need technology that works reliably and doesn't hold you back. Simply put, Pear is dedicated to providing gear that effectively complements your needs and helps you achieve your goals.

Unlike many tech companies that focus on promoting their products with claims of being the "strongest" or "most powerful" in their category, we believe the real value lies in how well the technology serves its users. Pear prioritize understanding and addressing the needs of the people who use our products.

Our campaign is centered around the user experience, featuring individuals and their unique workflows with Pear products. It highlights how seamlessly our products integrate into a variety of work environments, demonstrating their versatility and effectiveness in supporting diverse tasks and activities.

As part of the Pear campaign, I collaborated with my good friends Cole McKee and Christian Yip from "Top Corner" to develop the video component. We began by brainstorming various concepts for the Pear video, focusing on a user-first approach while showcasing the product's features.

To re-enforce the slogan "Pear Works With You", we decided to frame our video to switch back and forth between the 2 characters in nearly identical enviroments, but drastically different cirumcstances, showing Pear products being a seamless part of day to day work and functions, as compared to the comptetitors.

To highlight the contrast between the characters, I composed an original track that transitions from a relaxed, ambient atmosphere to an intense, bass-driven arrangement with dynamic sound design elements and punchy drums. The track seamlessly shifts in sync with the video, thanks to precise editing that matches the track’s BPM.
